PLEASE HELP!!! ATI Mobility Radeon 9200

Hallo, PLEASE HELP!!!

I actually have an ATI Mobility Radeon 9200.

I used to be on a domain with my laptop, but the domain is now removed. Now
it seems like it does not display the same as it used to. Eg my fonts are not
the same. Well, I chose the same fonts as I did on my domain profile, but it
does not look the same. It somewhat looks more "blocky" than it used to. Not
as smooth anymore.

What could be wrong? I have no idea what the problem would be. If you need
anything else, please let me know.

Maybe I need to update? But I dont think so, since I used to update it when
I had my domain profile on my laptop. That domain profile, used to be a local
profile on my laptop and not roaming.

PLEASE HELP!!! I need help, i am getting depro because of this!!

Thx

Tazzy

What does your Display Control Panel show ? Have you checked the settings ?

Hallo Paul,

I have checked some of the settings. Some of the settings that I know of to
check. Do you think it could possibly be that the driver version is different
to the one on the other profile? I doubt it, because it is still only one
laptop...?

When you were on a network you were probably getting some fonts and displays
from a server. Remove and reinstall the drivers.

Check that the screen resolution in display settings is set to the laptop
display's recommended value and the color quality to highest.

Network configuration doesn't have anything to do with your display quality.
The change away from a domain is coincidental to your video problem, it
wouldn't have had any effect on the video output. Some other software may
have been altered/removed at the same time though. If you didn't make the
changes yourself you might want to ask the person who did it what all they
altered.
