Please Help a School do a database

Please help a school.

Here is the setup:

One School has a Diploma.
To complete the diploma 3 courses must be taken, 1,2,3.
Several level 1, 2 and 3 courses are running at the same time.
Students may begin at level 1,2 or 3 depending on their level.
Students may need to resit a level depending on their performance.
Resits are possible 2 or 3 times.
Each level is 8 weeks: 5 days a week, 3 lessons a day.
Attendance for each student is taken for each lesson.

What would be the best way to set up this database? For example, which
tables and queries?

Admin needs to be able to see who is present /absent /late each day.
Teachers need to be able to input the attendance for the whole group
each lesson. (student 1, present, student 2 tardy...)
Admin need to be able to check who is teaching which level, which room
the course is in and so on.

Any help greatly appreciated.

This sounds like quite a big job. You can try looking here

where you will see a few classroom databases - they would need altering to
make them "do" what you want. I assume you know someone with a little
knowledge about access - you will need someone who understands the basics to
be able to open the sample DB's and make the changes.

There may be a database available that will do just what you need to so if
non of the DB's shown on the link will work then you could look around for
others
