Please go to the control panel to install and configure system com

I have laptop IBM T-60 with a windows XP professional SP2 installed and is
joined to the domain. For the last few days i got an error message when i
double click on the network share drive "Please go to the control panel to
install and configure system component".When i right click i can explore the
drive.I check on the internet but everyone is suggesting to find Autorun.inf
under the root of the drive have the problem but i didn't find this
file.Moreover the did the following in order to fix the problem.But the i
still have the same problem. Please assist if anyone knows how tpo fix it.
1- run the Full Scan Anti virus (Norton Updated)
2- Repair the windows via CD
3- Run spyware

If you ask in an appropriate Windows group (rather than in this .NET
programming group), I'm sure you'll get help.

To find the group you need:

Then open your language in the TreeView on the left, scroll down to
"Windows", open and scroll down to "Window XP" and
post there.
