Playing MP4s on Vista

Bobby

My phone (a Windows Mobile device) records video in MP4 format - which I
can't play back on my Vista PC.

Is there a codec I can download to add to WMP to play these files? Or is
there another media player I can run under Vista?

Cheers.

you can try this player that plays lots of formats and is very nice

I am so pleased with this that I have this as my default for all videos

One of the more bizarre decisions by MS. Their Pocket PC version of WMP
plays these files just fine. Why leave this codec out of Vista?

Media Player Classic plays them just fine also with the K-lite codec packs.

I am using on Vista64 RC1 and used it on Vista86 beta2. Others have
reported using it but not specifying the versions.
