I assumed the movie I made could be played on my DVD player and I could watch it on my TV. I tried it be it didn't work. It wasn't recognized by my player. Is that the case or am I doing something wrong?

Save as a DV-AVI file on your hard drive. Open your third party DVD burning
software. Import the file. Tell the software to re-encode in DVD format and
then burn the DVD.
