Playing Max Payne 2 Game

I'm writing not really knowing how I'll get my answer.
Trying to launch Max Payne 2 game I keep getting
"Exception: X_Level:Unable to validate material
template'MT_DIFFUSE'
I've done everything the game maker's suggest but to no
avail. Please Help.

Hi Frank,

Have you tried reinstalling that game without using any
mods and with any antivirus software off during the process?
