Playing games

After loading a disc I can play a game for about 10 minutes and then my
laptop shuts down. Anyone got any ideas as to how I can fix this?
 
The game is probably capturing the total of all inputs. Open Control
Panel/Power Options, and turn off the standby and shutdown features.
 
Yes, after about 10 mins on any game. I've changed the power settings and it
doesn't make any difference.

Hello,

Yep, it is possible that your card is overheating. Are you able to check the
temperate from Display Properties? Check in Settings > Advanced tab.

Open the casing and blow a table fan at it and see if it helps. You may need
to send it for warranty or swap it. The best way to verify it is to swap it
to another video card and see if the problem persists.
