Playing DVD's

After a DVD starts to play, my computer will flash code
on the screen and then reboot. Using XP. Happens with
Windows media player and other DVD player software.
 
Do you have enough video muscle to handle the demands of DVD movies? What
is your video card brand and memory? How much system memory (RAM) do you
have? Have you run a virus scan?
