Playing animation

Since I bought this copy of XP professional I have not been able to play any
animations in my browser.. I have SP2 will all udpates and also have java
enabled.. This problem also now exist with IE7.. I have four machines with XP
and this is the only one I can't get animations to play in my browser.. Any
help would be appreciated..

Have you ensured, "play animations in webpages" is selected under IE advanced
options.

Are you having issues while playing flash/macromedia etc type of content or
are these simple animated gif images. can you provide a URL that has a
problem on this box but works on others.

I have checked play animations in webpages.. here is a link to a site I
belong to.. Scroll down to TwoRails post.. he has two wheels that spin and
then stop.. This repeats itself all the time.. I don't get this effect on
this box only.. There are other avatars that move as well.

Why don't my animated gifs animate?

Take note of the mention of firewalls like @Guard as others like Zone
Alarm Pro and NIS may also have a disable option.
