Playback narration Problem on Photo Story 3

I have a problem I cannot solve and wonder if any one else has any clues.
I can record comments on pictures in Photo Story 3, and in the edit mode,
they play back for me.
When I save and run the story, when it opens in Windows Media Player 10, I
only see the slides and cannot hear the audio narration.
My Media Player 10 plays all other audio just fine, I have tested and
retested that part.
I have tried downloading a fresh copy of Media Player, of Photo Story, I am
relatively audio savvy, and I have checked all my settings in the control
panel for the right card, for voice audio, playback, nothing is on mute, all
levels are up.
If anyone has any clues, I would be really interested. thanks for listening.

Hey, I found the solution to my own problem so just in case anyone else is as
dumb as me, here is what I have figured out all by my lonesome..
I was saving the file right after recording and then trying to play it. I
should have been hitting "Next" until I get all the way to get to the final
Save page, and then have the show compiled for audio etc. Duh.. (but can I
blame the designer for not putting a warning pop up on the save, that
cautions you to progress to the final save page to ensure you hear sound)
