Play PP with my Laptop through Projector

I'm wanting to play my PP with my lapton through a projector, I am using a
USB cable from laptop to projector. It's not working I get everything on my
laptop but not through my projector.. I need help please!! Thank you!

There may be projectors that hook up to laptops via USB for other purposes, but I've never
seen one that uses USB for video. Perhaps they exist, but it's unusual.

Usually you connect the laptop's external video connection to the projector.

Hi Christianf

In my experience, USB interfaces on Projectors are used to connect to
the PC/laptop so that the projector's remote controller can act as a
wireless mouse for the PC to click to next slide in the PPT.

I have used this config many times but you will still need to connect
the laptop to the projector using the SVGA interfaces of the laptop and
projector.

Thank you both for your advice. They found the right cable, but it kept
telling us "NO SIGNAL" so we hit F5 and FN like we were told by someone but
still nothing, then finally my dad just hit F7 and that worked!
Thanks for your help, keep up the good work!
