Does anyone have experience with this package. It allows you to capture
print streams and reformat data.

What alternatives to this sophisticated program are available, don't need
all of its features

What print streams will you be capturing?

If you're not working with line data, but only ASCII delimited data,
PrintFusion Pro Desktop is the way to go.
