Placement of Email in "Inbox" and in "Sent Items"

I wish to have all incoming and sent Emails listed at the top of each window,
most recent first and so on.

I have 'clicked on' as appropriate the "received" and "sent' columns of the
"INBOX" and "SENT ITEMS" so that the Emails will appear in descending order.
As such, most incoming and outgoing Emails do appear with the most recently
received/sent listed first.

However, if there is an existing thread (group of Emails with the same
Subject), in the INBOX and/or SENT ITEMS, a newly arrived Email will embed in
that thread rather than at the top of list , even if the thread is dated.

How can I overcome this problem ??

Hmm you should change I and S settings in "Managing Exchange".

Go to View, Current View, uncheck "Group messages by conversation".
