Place Hyperlink in e-mail text

I have a hyperlink set in a Word document. I want to place this hyperlink in
an E-Mail Message.

Use copy and paste? If the actual link doesn't display in the Word document,
select the hyperlinked item and press Ctrl+K to display the Edit Hyperlink
dialog box. Copy the link from there.
 
Stephan,
Below is the document hyperlink that is now in my Word Document. It acts
properly when I click at this spot. However, when I copy/paste in my E-Mail
it fails to open my Word document.
