When on a page with many items I select one to open in a new window then
read it.
But when I come back to the original window it does not show where I was
i.e. my last selection.
This worked on IE5 by default but I found no way of activating this feature
on IE6.
It is so easy to get lost in a google search if you don't have this location
highlighter feature.

Thanks for any help

See if it works for you if you set Work Offline before trying to go back.
Otherwise the page may be refreshed.

However, a better way of dealing with that scenario is to open each link
in its own window. Then to "go back" all you have to do is close the window.
