When on a page with many items I select one in a new window then read it.
But when I come back to the original window it does not show where I was
i.e. my last selection.
This worked on IE5 by default but I found no way of activating this feature
on IE6.
It is so easy to get lost in a google search if you don't have this location
highlighter feature.

Hi,

HIW do you get back to that search result screen? If you hapen to click
anywhere on that page, the link you started with is not active any more...

In any case, have a look at Tools, Internet Options, Colors - you might have
the same color for active link (not listed) as for unvisited (which is
listed).
