Pivot Table formating

I have created several pivot tables and used the auto formatting function. I
would like to alter the formatting and preserve it for the next time I
refresh the data - but I can’t get the new formatting to "stick". Can you
help?

Right click on any cell in PT>Pivot Table Options>UNcheck AutoFormat
Table>CHECK Preserve Formatting

Thanks, that helps – but I have found that the “format painter†function does
not work very well in getting the format of the pivot table to “stickâ€. If I
do one row at a time, it works better.
