Pivot Table Source

Without right-clicking on a Pivot Table, then clicking Pivot Table Wizard >
Back, and seeing the reference to the data in the Pivot Table, is there
another way to view the source data? A friend told me that he gets files
with Pivot Tables, but he can’t find the source data. Obviously it could
come from an external database. I suspect it would be impossible to see the
reference to that DB. Is this correct?

Oh my! I have seen this before!! There is just too much to remember with
Excel!! Thanks for pointing me in this direction. I am grateful for these
discussion groups.
