Pivot table and chart refresh not an option

My pivot table and chart will not provide the refresh symbol, but the data
has changed and definitely needs to be refreshed
 
What version of Excel are you using.

1. Press Alt+F5 or Ctrl+Alt+F5 in 2007.
or
2. Right-click in the pivot table and choose Refresh in any version. Notes
there is no refresh option unless the cursor is in the pivot table.
