Pitfalls of RDP client connecting multiple times...

Joe L.

Good day,

COuld someone spell out the possible problems/issues with
a TS client connecting to multiple sessions on a terminal
server (Application Mode). An example would be the user
giving his account info to another and both of these users
connecting and logging into the TS at the same time. The
issues I can see would be that the profile being accessed
by the seperate sessions at the same time, printer
redirection would possibly get screwed up, and perhaps the
Outlook client on the TS wouldn't function properly.

Thanks for your input!

I doubt that printer redirection would be screwed up with
multiple logons, since it is a MACHINE based redirection,
not the user. As for outlook, it may very well get
screwed up with more than one user accessing the e-mails,
sending, receiving, etc. Simple solution would be to
keep them from giving their logon info out...by locking
them out of the system if they don't.
