pipe\spoolss

I'm using Windows XP Sevice Pack 2 as a print server. The problem is, it's
opening lots of named pipies to the \pipe\spoolss as can be seen in the
opened files folder. Sometimes, I have to manually flush the connections in
order for us to print but is some cases, flushing is not working.
I got this link from my research http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321364 but
I am already using service pack 2. Would you know of any other solution to
this problem?

One more thing, we are also using citrix here. The printer is setup to a
local computer and users connected to citrix can also print on that print
server.
