Hello Zachd, tell me how I can in the best way get the best feedback -
comments - and suggestions
(along with video and images presenting my suggestions) to microsoft?
That's an interesting question. There's some large number (let's just say a
nice round number like five hundred million) of people with opinions and
suggestions on Microsoft's operations and software. I would not want to
pretend that I know great ways to channel or direct that multitude feedback.
I generally cover what I know about this subject here:

I suspect that MVPs have more channels of access, but I certainly don't know
as I'm only an eXPert, not an MVP.
Since you can understand that making images and or videos showing what I
mean would take some time out of my schedule I would want to know that
someone from MS actually sees them.
It would be inappropriate for me to mislead you into thinking that I could
handle or direct you effectively here. I'm here on my own time hunting for
small items I can help with or add value on or get fixed. My involvement
with the large community affairs team is secondary at best, and I couldn't
speak for them.
I believe that my feedback would be valuable to MS, and I would be more
than happy to offer my service for free
to make the products better. I have the experience and background in art,
design, and computing to offer some good suggestions.
There's feedback and there's product design. If you're talking about
feedback, the easiest way to work with that is to join beta programs when
available. If you're talking product design, that's generally "submit your
resume" time. =) For any given project there's a large pool of people
working on product design and implementation. Adding "N" voices to the mix
probably isn't too helpful. Having aggregated channels of feedback is more
interesting, but probably difficult to manage.
I really do not feel I have anything interesting to offer on this front.
Respectfully, I would like to discontinue this conversation. I'm interested
in Vista and multimedia, but feel that sorting out "average end user
involvement in Windows planning" is likely beyond the scope of my limited
powers. =) There are likely other much more interesting people to talk to
on this subject than me. I'm just here as a friend. =)
