Hello!!!

When I use xp to ping the server(Windows2000server), sometime one or two result is show Request timed out(Total is 4 Packets, Received = 2, Lost = 2). But when I use Win98 was not this problem. What happen of my XP setting?

try setting you network speed to a fixed setting instead auto.
- properties of your networkcard. advanced tab. linkspeed and duplex.
- 100/10Mb depending on your hardware.
- use full duplex if you have a switch. use half duplex is you have a hub.

Check ipconfig/all. Does everything point to the server-IP?
