John or anyone who can help,
I had already reinstalled XP (albeit on the wrong drive) so I do not receive
that partition message option, what can I do to get that message back??? A
crash seems the only way to get it back:-( I really appreciate your help.
I want to completely reinstall XP from scratch, yes.

If you want to reinstall Windows and only have one partition on the disk
simply boot the computer with the Windows XP cd and select the option to
install Windows. When you get to the disk and partition selection
screen you will be able to delete all the partitions on the disk and
create a new one using all the available disk space. Needless to say
that all the files on the disk will be lost when you delete the
partitions. If you have more than one hard disk make sure that you
don't delete partitions on the wrong one!

I am doing this as I type. You have been a great help. I saved the info
previously.
