Ping both netbios name but give the same IP address

In my domain, there's a DC named cndc001 was crashed and then I
reinstall this DC and take a name as cndc002 with the same IP address.

In the DNS, I deleted all the record of cndc001.

but I still can ping to both server name cndc001/cndc002, and both
give me the same ip address.

I had ipconfig/flushdns both in the server and client, and clean the
cache of the dns server. it did not work.

thanks for any advice.

Cleared ARP caches, cleaned and scavenged both WINS and DNS?
