PID code

I buy from my supplier some licence sticks for XPE.
The PID code that I find on them is valid for XPE SP2 but not for SP1 (that
I have). The problem is that at the moment I need very urgently to enable my
image and I can not do the update to SP2 in few times (I will do it when I
will come back to my factory), so can someone write me a valid PID code for
SP1 (xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx) or suggest me another solution dofferent
from update to SP2?

Thanks

Marco,

I just went through this myself. Here's what you need to do:
1)
Install this First
Repository look-up may cause incorrect files to be copied (Q811279),
February 25, 2003
Important: Install this update first. It is required before installing the
updates listed below. This update addresses a potential problem when large
numbers of repositories are used that take advantage of the fallback
repository mechanism. This problem does not occur with Windows XP Embedded
with Service Pack 1 by default, but could occur with new component updates.

2)

Then you need to go to the secure OEM site (you need a .net passport and
you need to set up an account) and download KB888506: Extend Runtime Product
Key Range for Windows XP Embedded:
https://microsoft.embeddedoem.com/content.asp?path=/downloads/winxp/qfe/888506

These updates go on the machine where TD is installed.

3)

Upgrade your configuration in Target Designer: Configuration Menu ->
Upgrade Configuration.

Rebuild your image. This time it should work.
