Reagrding licensing Sticker and PID

Hello All,
Till now i have been working on evaluation version of tool. Today I got the
Licensed copy of the XP Embedded Tool SP2 and licensed stickers. Now what I
am able to see on sticker is some 5 digit no in the format
(xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx), If i am not wrong these are the PID no. to
be added to the build in target designer.
Now the confusion for me is........
1) Every sticker has PID no. on it and suppose I want to clone the Same
image and deploy it on a no. of systems, now i can enter a single PID no. at
one time.
So i will enter it and clone the image and deploy it to no. of systems, but
the condition as per licensing norms is I am suppose to stick one sticker to
each CF.
So can I use the PID's specify on these stickers to make licensed images.
2) Is there anything else needed besides PID to be entered in target
designer for licensing the image.

Hi Amit,
Here are a couple of threads i found that will probably answer your
questions, i searched the NG for 'COA' and 'PID'. This is a pretty common
question, if you can't find your question there, you are also encouraged to
talk to your distributor, they are trained by Microsoft to answer all your
licensing questions.

1. When you buy licenses, you should receive an envelope that has the
stickers (COAs) and a card that contains a PID
(xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx). If you buy 5 seperate times, you'll end up
having 5 of those cards thus 5 PIDs. For a given project, just choose 1 of
those and put it in Target Designer for your configuration. That PID is
legal to exist in every copy you make of your image. Each box that receives
an image needs it's own COA but can share a PID. The PID in reality is just
way to trace back to you.

2. No.
