PICTURES TAKEN FROM INTERNET

Can somebody explain why some of the pictures which I have gotten from
the Internet (that were in my Temporary Internet File) no longer show
up as pictures? Instead, all I get when I click on the file is a red
colored X. What happened to the picture? Is there any way to get it
back?
