pictures display in green

I have upgraded my computer, but use XP on both new and
old computer; however the old ppt's and new one's I've
begun creating have a a display problem.
When viewing the slide show many of the pictures display
in all green hues or are filled with vertical green
lines. Generally pictures are displayed properly in other
views (other than slide show). The green display is
generally random - open a show and a picture is green the
next time opened it may not be.
This occurs on my new computer only - emailed ppt to
another who didn't have the problem.

Any suggestions as to a fix?

Have you checked the computer manufacturer or the video card manufacturer
for a new video driver? That's where I would start. And don't be misled
and think that a new computer means that it comes with the latest of
everything. Video drivers get updated frequently. Whew, I just checked and
a new driver for my card was released last week. I'm off to update my own
system right now.
