Pictures disappear after pasting

When I am in print view, and past images from the clipboard they initially
appear fine. However, later if I return to that page, the images do not
appear, although they are still there. They randomly appear only to
disappear if I go to another page.
 
Try reducing or turning off hardware acceleration in Start | Control Panel |
Display | Settings | Advanced.
