Pictures Blured and distirted, not clear

When I go to several web sites that have pictures, some out the pictures are
not clear, blured and or distorted. The same happens on my personal family
web site. Today i went to the public library to check to see if the proble
was my internet explorer or some other source. Some where I have a problem
with my IE. The pictures on the library's computer were ok. Can any one give
me some advice?

Hi,
A couple of things to look at:

From IE> Tools> Internet Options> Advanced> Multimedia, uncheck "Enable
automatic image resizing."

Is your ISP compressing images to make pages download faster? AOL, NetZero,
Earthlink and others have this option. You should be able to turn it off
from (for example) My AOL> Preferences. You may have to explore a bit to
find where your ISP has hidden this option.

Other possibilities- affecting mostly newer computers- mostly notebooks.
