Picture Shadow Question

Hello everyone,

I have been trying to add shadows to my images (jpg format) in frontpage
2003. But if I click the image (the "stretch" buttons appear in the corners
and middles) then click the "shadow style" button, all shadows are "greyed
out". If I do the same proceedure with a text box the shadows are greyed out
and they work beautifully. So my question is, how do I add shadows to a JPG
image?

Are there any tips and or tricks (like does if have to be in a table or
something?

You need to add the shadows in a image application, then import the image
into FP prior to using them.

You can also do this with FrontPage 2003 (sort of):

New Page
Click Table > Layout Tables and Cells
In the Task Pane click to insert a Layout Cell
Click OK to the default settings (75 pixels, I believe)
Drag your image into the cell you just inserted
Select the cell (careful not to select the image, just the cell)
In the Task Pane, click on Cell Formatting
Click on Cell Corners and Shadows
Click on the shadow you want to add from the bottom


This will create a shadow on the table cell, and as long as the table cell
is the same size as your image (it will stretch to fit your image as long as
the image is bigger than the original cell), the shadow will appear to be on
the image.

In the Frontpage 2003 hwlp it says you can add shadows to pictures? there
has to be an easy way to do it in frontpage.

Couldn't you also add a shadow to a table layer?

Best practices says that all image editing should be done outside of
FrontPage. Just do it the right way ... then it's consistent.
