Picture order in Slideshow Screen Saver

The pictures in My Pictures Slideshow Screen Saver appear in random order.
I've tried organizing and numbering them in the folder. They appear in proper
order in the Slideshow, but not in the Screen Saver. Is there a way to
control the order in which they appear in the screen saver?

Abandon My Picture screensaver. Use Motion Picture. You would love it.

The answer is no. The XP screensaver displays pictures in a random order.
