My Photo Slideshow

After creating a slideshow and making it appear as a screen saver, how do you
make the slides appear in a specific order?

Explain how you made the slideshow and screensaver. What tools did you use?

I used Microsoft Powerpoint and then exported all the slides into a My
Documents Folder as .BMP files. Then, I went into My Picture Screen Saver on
Display, and browsed for the picture folder. I tried renaming all the
pictures with numbers, but they still appear randomly. I also tried the above
by exporting the slides from Powerpoint as .jpg files.

"My Picture Slideshow" screensaver cannot display pictures in any other
order than random. You need to use some other screensaver.

Here is another possibility. You can request this free screen saver software
from the author at this site:
http://www.pbase.com/fjp/screen_saver_2005_04_apr_11

You will receive a zip file ( 1 MB) with instructions to extract it in your
C:\windows\system32 folder.

You can display your files in the order you want and there is a variety of
options. A little bit of work to set it up, but very nice.

I'm used to apply photo2VCD/DVD to achive my pictures and convert them
to slideshow,so far so good. Maybe, I should try the above screen saver
software recommended by Yves Alarie to see how cool it is.

It is pretty cool!. You know the "computer lingo" you will easily figure how
to implement it. A little bit of work outside of "Install" "Next"
"Next".........
