Hi,

Can anyone help? I am trying to add a link to part of a picture, not the
whole picture, i have tried drawing a box and making that a link but it just
comes up with a red cross. Any ideas?

You want an imagemap.

You're talking about a "hot spot". You want the picture toolbar, not the
drawing one. Insert the image onto the page, then choose View, Toolbars,
Pictures. Then choose one of the shapes (ex: square) and draw around the
area you want to hyperlink. When you're done the hyperlink box will appear.
