Have just reinstalled (twice) Picture-It Publishing on a brand new computer.
It seems to be ok - opens up - but when I start to work in it - it shuts down
completely and goes back to my desktop. I had Windows XP and I still have
Windows XP, so cannot understand why it will do this. Gives me no error
message - just disappears.

Could not find any for Picture-It Publishing platinum 2002. This program
worked fine on my last computer - it opens up just fine, but when I ask it to
do anything at all (such as start with a 1/2 fold card), it just totally
shuts down. No message - just back to the desktop as though I never opened
the program in the first place.

Sorry. I don't use the program and can only guess at why it may not be
working on your new computer (DEP on this one and not on the previous, for
example).

Some general thoughts:

Might try different settings in Program Compatibility since this is an
older program.

Are you running it from a limited user account or an account with
administrative status? Either way there is a workaround in this article:

More MS Knowledge Base articles for this program (browse each to find an
article related to your problem):

Or you could try this question in the Picture It newsgroups:

Hard to find but finally located a link to the web based Picture It
