Picture is washed out

Hi All~
This is the strangest thing I have see.... on one of the master slides,
when you choose a picture for the background and choose OK, it displays it as
washed out. It will look normal when you select it, but once you choose ok
it is washed out. Then if you change the color scheme, the washed out color
changes with it. I am stumped! If you would like me to email you a copy to
see, let me know. Any ideas or suggestions would be great!!! Thanks!!

I suppose, you did not start with a blank template to create your
presentation, but used Microsoft's template Ocean.pot. This washes out the
background picture and changes its color. Use either the blank template or
one of the other ones to start, they'll behave "normal".

Kind regards,
Ute

What Ute said.

There are a few MS templates that do this.
Ocean.POT
Clouds.POT
Textured.POT

I thought I remembered hearing that there are actually four that act like
this, but I'm not sure what the fourth one is.
