picture embeded email cannot display picture

Hi,

I have received email from other ppl with picture embeded on the email. I
see the cross sign on the email and picture cannot viewed? But once I click
on the forward or reply button, on the replied email, I manage to see the
picture. Anyone know what is the problem?

Are these pictures included in the mail or are they located on a website? Do
you see an information bar under header indicating that Outlook prevented
the automic downloading of images?
