Picture and Fax Viewer still not working

Have tried re-registering shimgvw.dll but still no go.
Have read KB921048 which indicates a known MS problem.
Is there any solution to getting the viewer to function properly?
 
I hate to tell you this, but this is a .Net Programming newsgroup, not a
Windows newsgroup. Try looking for a group with "Windows" in the
description.
