Pics not showing up

I build a simple concept ASP.NET 2.0 web site. Howeve, when I run it none of
the pictures show up. The pictures are .gifs located in the App_Data folder.
I just dragged them into the designer (where they appear fine), so I don't
think incorrect pathing is an issue. Has anyone else run into anything like
this, or am I just making a boneheaded mistake somewhere along the line?

PS. I have run it using both IIS and the ASP.NET Development Server
 
Ahuff,

Some (not all) code can be helpfull to get an answer.

By instance if you use an imagebox and than how you connect the url to that.
