physicsl memory dump

Sasha-J

My system was right up to date with all patches, secuirty.
Last night I ran a virus scan - nothing. This a.m., I
turned on computer and got the 'blue screen of death'.
The messages were: KMODE_EXECPTION_NOT_HANDLED Address
BD361966 base at BD358000, Datestamp 4091d3cc-SYMFW.SWS
Dump of physical memory. Physical memory dump complete.
Contact system administrator.

I shut my computer off. Can anyone offer advice. I have
not done anything else with computer since then. Is it
toast, or what?

You are missing some information from the bluescreen, but basically
bluescreens are caused by bad/corrupt drivers. Fix this, no more bluescreens
- Start you machine up, does it happen again? Do any actions coincide?
(hardware/software use)
- Were there any changes made lately to your system? (hardware / software /
driver install/update?)
- Are there any event log errors that may be relevant?
