Photographs in Powerpoint

My daughter sent me a Power Point presentation that has some photographs in
it, I wish to delete a couple of the photos and add ones that are better.
Is there some way to do this whilst keeping the other formating such as audio
and text?

Thank you for your help

If you are using PowerPoint 2007, you can just right click and choose Change
Picture -- it's that easy.

If you are using an older version of PowerPoint, you must first find out if
that photograph has any animation applied -- its' easy to find that out by
choosing Slide Show | Custom Animation -- see in the resultant task pane if
the photograph has some animation. Now if you delete the older picture, and
get a new picture instead, you'll want to recreate that animation. On the
other hand, if the picture has no animation, then you can just delete it and
insert a new photo in its place.

My problem is that I am unable to find a menu item to delete the picture. I
must be overlooking something. I am using PP 2003.

you just have to hit the "DEL" key on your keyboard.
