PhotoGallery Error

I need help. Anything I do with pictures or video causes a "Windows is
installing PhotoGallery" error... followed by a slew of dozens of fatal
errors. It eventually hangs my system. Does anyone know what the software
is... is it included with Windows XP or some other hardware software...

.... I also have an HP Officejet + Scanner
..... ATI All-in-Wonder video card...

... maybe it came with those...

Any help would be appreciated.

Peter

If this can help, PhotoGallery is not included with XP.
It is difficult for us to know what you mean by "Anything I do...."
But try this, right click on a photo file and click on Open with on the
opening menu. Then click on Choose Program at the bottom of the opening
list. A new list will open, select Windows Picture and Fax viewer and check
the box "Always....".
After you do this, if you double click on a photo file it should open
properly. If not tell us what happens when you double click on a photo file
to open it.
