Photo Story 3

I have created a slideshow in Photo Story 3 with music and saved it in
wmv and it plays fine in WMP or VideoLan but will not play with the
Photo Story 3 program-I get a message that that the file is corrupt or a
connected device is not working. I have a Sony laptop VGN-BX540B running
XP PRO-1 Gig Ram. Any ideas? Even the Tips download from M$$ does the
same thing.

==================================
That behavior is expected if you drag/drop a
video file on the PhotoStory 3 executable. Photo
Story 3 is not a video player...it calls Windows
Media Player.

Try this...Open PhotoStory 3 and tick, "Play A Story"/
Next...Choose the story you wish to play and click
the Play button... Windows Media Player will open
and play the video.

That is what I do and it gives me the error"a device connected is not
working" and if I right click on a file and choose open with PS3 it says
it is corrupt. I have WMP 10 installed and can open the player and click
file and open any one of the files I have created and they will play.

Found the problem--VideoLan was set to open wmv files.

Thanks
