Photo Story 3 / XP Plus DM Edidiont and VCDs

Wow - all I can say is that I thought we were having a nice exchange of info,
but with due respect, your last reply was way out of line and quite uncalled
for.

For your info I did look at the web sites you posted, and I did try the
"hack" you suggested. The whole purpose of my post was to find out how to
create a VCD. Unless I missed something there was NOT ONE WORD on those web
sites with regard to my inquiry.

I've been quite low key about my irritation that MS posted info on the web
site that (apparently) is not accurate. I've also said a lot of very
positive things about PS3 - it's a great little utility - only looking for a
solution to one problem - doesn't mean I don't like it for what it does do
(well), and I've said so.

So.....I'm not "just wishing to complain" - I'm looking for an answer to a
specific issue and you have not pointed me to that answer.

Unless you have something constructive to add, and it does not involve a
personal attack please do not reply. I'll get assistance elsewhere.

Thanks,
Bruce

Hi Bruce, I have created a VCD using Photo Shop Photo Album 5. See
www.corel.com for details.

This application lets you create a slide show (or shows) and then create a
VCD from the slide show set. Each slide show in the set becomes a "chapter"
on the VCD. IMO, it's a little way off from being a completed product and
the associated sound track management could do with some additional work but
the basic functionality of displaying say holiday snaps on your TV is there.

Hope this helps, have fun!
