I am thinking of upgrading to the basic Windows Vista from XP Home
Edotion. Will I still be able to use Microsoft Photo Story 3. I think
it is an amazing little program and cant be without it.

PS3 runs on Vista for me and I've seen reports
from other users who had success. Hopefully
you will have the same result.

Before installing Vista...it may be a good idea to
have a look at the following site:

It runs the same on my Vista Home Basic laptop as it does on my XP Media
Center Edition laptop.... I use it on both daily.

At times it runs a tad better on Vista than on XP....

Many thanks. I will get a re-install using Vista

Personally, I recommend not uprading from XP to Vista unless there's some
compelling reason.... and recommend getting Vista on a new system unless
there's a compelling reason to stay with XP.

Merryterry, if Photo Story 3 is important, I would not upgrade to Vista. I
use Photostory 3 continually and find that the "customize motion" feature
does not work with Vista Ultimate on my laptop. Other features seem to work
alright but it is a bit upsetting the MS has not upgrades this wonderful
program for Vista. Don't upgrade as you will regret it.
