Photo Story 3 Problems.

I have attempted to get information from the Photo Story 3 but.....anyway, I
had photo story 2 on my computer when purchasing it. Loved it, could burn to
regular CD's (No DVD Burner)... and play them on my computer as well as burn
a copy for others to view on theirs. I downloaded the update to Photo Story
3. Did a story, burned it, and all that burned was the music part of it..no
pics. I tried everything with no solution. I thought I would go back and
just get photo story 2 back, not as nice but at least could burn to a cd.
But, it only gives you a trial version. Can anyone help me with this. I
loved the fact I could burn pics and music to a cd but now I
can't......thanks

I've seen this come up many times. I believe it may have something to do
with the optimized codec that PS3 uses. If you are trying to view it on a
computer without Windows Media 9 Image v2 codec, you will not get video.

You can either upgrade to the latest Windows Media player, or you can import
your Photo Story into Windows Movie Maker and create a new movie file from
there. Movie Maker will not use the optimized codec and you will be fine.

The good news is soon everyone will have the optimized codec and it wont
matter.

Photo Story 3 installs to a different folder on your computer than version
2... if you didn't uninstall version 2, you should still have it.
