Photo Story 3 - music problem

I can't get Photo Story 3 to play music all the way to the end of the
slideshow.

The music strip along the top of the filmstrip doesn't sync with the frames
below. In other words, the end of Song A doesn't end at the frame below the
end of Song A's music strip - when it says it's supposed to end.
Consequently, the beginning of Song B, which is anchored way down the
filmstrip immediately following the previous song, starts on a frame that is
displayed under Song A's music strip. The result is that I run out of music
before I run out of pictures.

I've tried adding music, deleting pictures and everything else in between.
Nothing works. Help!

Have you tried right clicking an image and
choosing...Music / Create? You can add
music one frame at a time this way. Start
on the right and work your way back.

Or...create your PhotoStory without music
and import the completed .wmv file into Movie
Maker where you will have more control over
the audio tracks.

Yes, I have added music from the right. It only deletes the end of the
previous song.

As for Movie Maker, I've never used the program and, quite frankly, I don't
have time to learn a new program. I think I'm going to have to cut my time
losses and simply not have music for the graduation Photo Story. Unless
someone here comes up with a solution.

Last night I deleted enough photos to only require one song in the story.
It's evidently not a multiple song problem. Photo Story cut off the end of
the song and let the rest of the photos scroll through silently. I quit.

I'm thinking I don't like this program. Understatement of the year.

Thanks, John. I've been to that site already, and too many others, and none
refer to anything that resembles what I'm dealing with.

Tried making a new story. Same problem.

As I said...try Movie Maker for adding
and editing your audio. You could have
more than finished the project in the time
you have spent searching for a way to
do it in PhotoStory.

Here is what I did to solve the problem: Take the music tracks that you want
added to the project, and string them togather into one track using an audio
editing program. I used the free "Audacity" program. Just select enough music
tracks to about equal the length of the video, or simply cut-off the combined
music track to match.
