[texasroperescue]

is there a way to get more than 300 pictures into photo story? trying to do
a school reunion project that will continuously play in the auditorium - 900
pics!!

One possible solution would be to create several
smaller projects and then import them into Movie
Maker so you could combine them into one project.

I'll include saving instructions for Movie Maker at

Also...if you wanted to create a DVD you could use
DVD Authoring software to combine them...the

To save as an .avi movie file...
(and several other options)
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /

Enter a Name and a Save Location /

Show More Choices /
Other Settings /
Open the drop window and choose...DV-AVI /
Next /
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...

To save as a .wmv movie file...
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next /
Tick...'Best Quality For My Computer'
Next/
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...

Good luck on your project.

If you put a PC-quality Photostory export on DVD, the quality is excellent.
Unfortunately when using Movie Maker the quality of the resulting movie decreases.

Even when I create a high res custom profile (1024x768), the MM exported video is, well,
disappointing.
FYI: I use Nero VE to build DVD's and I get the best results when directly importing a
1024x768 Photostory export. Nero VE will then again recode this videofile, but the quality
is excellent.
If I use MM to add extra banners, captions and effects, the exported MM video is just not
worth watching. Let alone burn it on a DVD.

If some1 knows how to create high quality video's from MM, I'd be very happy.

Well, yes and no.

I've tried creating a high res profile (1024x768) myself, but that didn't work.
I didn't have the time or energy to try all permutations of possible option settings.
However in an all-or-nothing attempt I downloaded a ready to use profile from that site.
And the result, I have to admit, is much better than I expected.

I'm now looking forward to finishing my Photostory exports with the nice MM extras.
