photo server not available

For the past three days, that I know of, I have been unable to share photos
with my emails. I have done it in the past. Anyway, I try to "share photos"
and it puts them in the outbox, then a little box pops up and says " msn
photo servers are currently unavailable to share your photos on line, you can
continue trying or cancel the online sharing service and only send the
message" Can't figure out why all of a sudden this is happening. I have msn
premium with verizon dsl.

Well after three attempts, I finally got a Verizon person that would help me
on live chat. He said that microsoft is well aware of the problem, but tells
them that if you just hit the "send without photo" button on the error
message, the picture will go through. Try emailing yourself a picture and
try that to see if it will work. Mine went through.

It's possible that site is down or they stopped offering the service.
It could also be that it was a trial service and you didn't subscribe so
you were dropped. Or, the software is misinterpreting the fact that
your firewall or router is blocking the site, as the server being down.
You probably need to call or email the service, or go to their home
page and click Support to see their FAQ and other support items.

Ahh...I've been having this exact same problem for the past 3 weeks and
finally thought to check the Discussion Groups. This fix did it!! Thanks.
I don't know what the issue was or what the fix did, but it works now.

I am so glad to see that I wasn't the only one having this problem. This has
been going on since before Thanksgiving! Trying to find help from Microsoft
or MSN Messenger or even my local carrier, Verizon, has been a nightmare.
They were no help at all. Emails full of useless links and endless phone
menus later, I still had no solution to the problem. In my desparate search
for a solution, I happened upon this discussion group, and there it was: the
link that solved the problem! I don't know who discovered the cure, but I am
grateful for it, because the "official" help was no help at all. And believe
me, I told them so.
